Made by Me is a free two-day workshop for go-getters who are the first person in their immediate family to go to college. This is for those interested in creative industries and a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. Made by Me will have you explore the bounds of your imagination and see what sensational things come out.

how do we do it?
How do we update the flyer if we can't reprint them?
How can we update the look while not going outside of the current branding elements from previous years?

DESIGN
We will be reusing the past year’s posters and adding stickers to update the dates and information.
Using existing colors and typography.
Using a sticker motif on the posters and branding to create a hand-made presentation, emphasizing a sense of self-empowerment and development.
LANDING PAGE
Use the same sticker motif on the landing page for a cohesive feel.
Reuse same who/what/why/where/when concept from previous landing page for easy access.
Improve accessibility via color choice and design.
Update URL to connect to Think community page.

Promote the workshop via social media from April to week-of.

QR code and URL redirect to Think community page; avoids new URL cost and redirects all previous distribution of the old URL to the updated page.
Sticker updates event date in 4 colors that correspond to the previous vector designs; stickers are more cost-effective than reprinting posters since there were over 100 left from 2021.

building upon excellence
Integrating the phrase, "Think Integrated Presents" into the Made By Me logo was important for updated collateral so viewers would understand how the two were related without lengthy explanation.
To maintain visual consistency, Barlow Condensed Semibold was used which is one of Think Integrated's brand fonts.
Vector illustrations were converted into stickers.
The addition of a URL addition made it a promotional piece that could be handed out to attendees as well as used in the community for organic marketing. The stickers were later placed for social content, the remaining ones for the workshop coming in June.
Addition of tagline copy as a framing element highlighted empowerment of attendees utilizing existing and new copy.

Developing the vector illustrations into a digital sticker motif helped refresh deliverable content for the campaign, making the pieces feel interactive.
Stickers highlighted the way students and attendees could customize their experience from the workshop and make their mark for scholarship submissions.

Plans were for 4 email waves for potential applicants, community leaders and counselors and 2 email waves for supporters, contributors and potential donors.
The email template built off of Think's refreshed branding across emails, updating previous year email designs and uniting the two.
EVENTBRITE

Combining all of the changes and updating previous Eventbrite imagery, this year's Eventbrite header easily conveys the workshop's message, target market, updated sticker motif, and the date.

Partnering with the social and content creation interns, I educated the team on how to utilize the brand colors, feel, and imagery to achieve an updated look for the campaign. Copy was created by the copywriting intern, and captions by the social team. Our accounts intern helped translate posts into Spanish for greater reach.
After tweaking the initial Canva drafts created by the social team utilizing best practices on text hierarchy, readability and whitespace, we were able to collaboratively create Made By Me's new social campaign.

To integrate the campaign's new look, the design of the landing page was updated. Sticker designs were used as icons for modules offered at the workshop, images from previous workshops were added, and the colors were used in a more intentional way throughout the page.
A new GIF was added in the hero, representing the values of Made By Me.

Additionally, Think Integrated's community tab is a host to their yearly events like Day On and Think-A-Thon. Made By Me runs every other year, and Think-A-Thon as well, so a banner was made for this community bridge page.
